Guidelines
Effective Date: October 11, 2026
The short version: help each other build. Don't be the reason someone leaves.
01 — Be Excellent to Each Other
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, or personal attacks. Disagree with the build, not the builder.
- No doxxing — never post someone's personal info. SpekForge auto-blurs license plates in shared photos; don't try to defeat it.
02 — Keep It About the Cars
- Spam, scams, and off-topic promo get removed. Sharing your own build content is fine; drive-by link-dropping isn't.
- Affiliate/part links: if you share a part link you earn commission from, say so. (We do — see our affiliate disclosure.)
03 — Post Accurate Info
- SpekForge runs on trust in specs. Don't post fitment data, torque specs, or part numbers you haven't verified. Guesses presented as facts get flagged.
- If you're unsure, say so — "I think" beats a confident wrong answer.
04 — Your Photos, Your Rights
- Only upload photos you took or have permission to share.
- No brand logos or copyrighted images you don't own.
05 — Keep It Legal
- Don't use SpekForge to organize illegal street racing or reckless driving. Track talk is welcome; street-takeover planning isn't.
06 — Reporting & Enforcement
- See something off? Report it — reports get reviewed.
- Enforcement ladder: content removal → temporary restrictions → account removal for repeat or serious violations. See our Terms for details.
